Why do you stay?

What's the cost? Does it hurt you worse to be here? Maybe have to weigh the how it helps to doesn't

I'm here because of the good it brings me. I've learned to cut out what doesn't make me happy or hurts me. It makes my time here joyful

It's my form of socializing. And as I told the members here I got banned from my grieving site for giving a drunken admin a piece of my mind. And to be honest when I feel the need to express my grief feelings I get better support and understanding here then I did there. When it comes to loosing a significant other I am not alone here. And I enjoy the humor.

I'm pretty much housebound, I come here for the laughs, the compassion and my social interaction.

Without it I suspect I'd be bereft.

SW is what you make of it.

I have had a chance to share my prose.
Argue with those that are secular about science.
I have known people here for years ver 10 years and no need to worry about a mask during the pandemic.
This is social so it definitely helps fulfill that need.

Agreed about using it as an escape.. the cost? I like to socialise more here than I do in reality, I used to think I can speak here with more freedom without judgement, now it’s more like this is just a diary.
The real cost for me is relying on people here who earn my trust, but then show their true colours. Only stay for the very few who I care about.

That is what I do too, escape into SW from regular life to a fantasy life and sometimes meet interesting people. I can though sometimes spend too much time in fantasy but maybe I need that.

I would imagine, a lot of messages from guys expecting too much, or showing too much

Precisely my reasons. Specially during lonely night but it's been a while since I interacted with any one on here. Folks here aren't as friendly as they used to be

There's good people here. I can share laughs. I can share my deepest thoughts.

I enjoy the interaction with some people and reading posts. The cost is time. I can consume hours of my day, when there are so many other things to do..

Cause I don't talk to anyone irl and I don't want to listen to my roomie all the time.

To vent. Plus I have friends here.

I just try to make others laugh and forget about there troubles,even if for a brief moment.

I ask myself that all the time! I use this place as a distraction from insomnia

To waste time basically and to discover new music (and hear some that I haven't heard in ages either).

Sometimes i feel lonely or like i need a connection so i come here. Look at some dudes naked wife. I thknk ok. I might read some arguing about god and evolution. I get tricked sometimes thinking im opening a post about someones vacation only to suddenly find myself looking at some guys d×××.
Then theres the spankers, crossdressers, wife swapers, political experts, religion peddlers, etc etc etc.
Every now and then i find someone with whom i have a nice conversation.
That kinda makes it worth it.
