I used to bike ride, but I haven't done it in years since my accident. I lived in Queens, NY, and would ride to the beach (Rockaway) most days after work. The solitude was wonderful, even in the Winter when the beach and the boardwalk were deserted.

@WonderGirl that's awesome and amazing. Those remind me of the boards here. Cheers.

@WonderGirl Asbury Park? I used to live at Seaside Heights. It was a madhouse in the summer. But in the winter it was a ghost town. I like the ghost town.
@Prisoner1972 Queens, NY, (Rockaway Beach)
I don't know what that really is honestly
I try to get fresh air. Spend quiet moments late at night in the dark with electric fireplace light since i dont have real one

@Bexsy I wish you could have more. You need and deserve a good spoilin too lady. Moments in the dark by flickering light are so primitive and peaceful though.

I guess the only time I'm alone is when I'm running or biking or maybe gardening at times.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@MarbleMarvel Yes most of the time. My daughter is grown up and I don't feel like I really need total alone time. Even if my wife and I are gardening together, I could be on one side of the property and she on the other. Plus I've been married so long we don't need to talk all the time.
@JimboSaturn sweet. I'd love to be in a relationship where I'm not expected to have endless conversations and questions
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@MarbleMarvel Most of the time we are just doing things beside each other not necessarily talking much.
I like to lay down in a dark cool room with my thoughts until I fall asleep. I can do that for a full day taking multiple naps and breaks to watch something and eat
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@PepsiColaP I could never be distraction free to my own thoughts.
They also ask what 3 items would you take to a deserted island.
I said just 1, a 9mm pistol because being subjected to my own thoughts sounds like hell.

Reading books, listening to music. I love walking in nature on my own, it makes me feel so free.

How I spend time, when you have a
10 months old at home there is nothing known as Me time. It's either wee or poo or hunger time and you run around time

@Donotfolowme yeah I don't miss those days lol but I feel for you. It gets a bit easier in ways, harder in others. There's more me time coming 🖤

@HijabaDabbaDoo omg that is so fetch!
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
Mostly working on music or playing video games. Also watching random whatever on YouTube.
I've been reading again too.

@MarbleMarvel Most definitely! I'm feeling my anxiety slowly dissipate the less I'm staring at a computer screen.
@thepreposterouspanda Yas!!!
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@MarbleMarvel I'm definitely gonna spend more time doing it. I used to devour books in high school and then once I got sick, I just couldn't focus on them anymore. Gonna force my brain to do it though. 😌
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
A variety of ways from walks in nature, long soaking tub baths, quiet meditation and reading.
@SageWanderer so peaceful, you know how to do it
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@MarbleMarvel It has been a new learning experience and I’m still trying to grow in my self care.

With the kids or out shopping
probably lying on the sofa having therapy with chat gpt, petting my cat, or playing a game
sometimes all at the same time
sometimes all at the same time
@OrionInTheNight do you find AI more helpful than humans?
@MarbleMarvel are you kidding? you should try it
it has changed my life
I vent to chat gpt, it gives me ideas and does research, then I do it
in this way I keep my personal life completely sealed and then my interactions with humans only need to be transactional and really that is what people want anyways
nobody wants to hear anyone else's bullshit, people want you to exchange value, now I can stick to that
I think people are going to start to like me more for this reason

When my mind is quiet enough, I mix oils, bake, garden.
Once a month I get my nails done.

@V00doo lovely 🖤 it's tricky to get the mind to join you sometimes, but completely lovely when it does.
