I use to love my mom a lot when I was a kid. She's only said I love you a few times in my life.
TexChik · F
I missed telling Momma to her face by only a few minutes, she passed before I could get there. But Daddy got the tears and my holding his hand telling him over and over. He said he knew that, they had always known that and that they loved me too.

@H1raeth I doubt your god said that. Sounds like made-up crap from someone who wants your money.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@hunkalove He did, but only in scripture, I'm sorry if I tried to speak on his behalf.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@H1raeth He wrote a book? I don't think so. Some dudes made that up.

The night they died

@H1raeth I have PTSD...you have no idea what "these emotions" do when they catch fire. Its been 25 years. I prayed my prayers and cried my tears. I had them moved out here to the farm after we made a family plot. Its a beautiful cheery place, with a big willow, wrought iron, some mercury vapor lights at night , a fountain, honeysuckle everywhere. Bees and hummingbirds in the warmer months...manicured grounds and the American, Texas, and Marine flags flying by Daddy's grave (retired marine). I put Lilies in the urn on Mommas stone. I have a chair I sit in when I visit hanging on the fence and there is a wooden park bench there too. The preacher uses that. He found the plot while driving around to see an ill parishioner. He liked the vibe and likes to come out there to think, pray, and write his sermons.

I have made my peace

@TexChik You'll see them again some day.
TexChik · F
@H1raeth That is why I am a good girl! 😇

Both deceased
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@NeddyKelly But did you tell them you loved them when they were still alive?
NeddyKelly · M
@H1raeth Could not remember to be honest
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Never said it to them. They never said it to me. Never touched me except to hit me.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
No longer possible, but we were/are a family of unspoken love were deeds and kindness speak volumes. I can't remember a time when there was a serious falling out with my parents (as an adult) or my siblings and so it goes. We just know we love each other and gratitude overflows.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@FreddieUK Some families are like that. Mine are like that but I thought I would love-bomb them anyway.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@H1raeth And that's wonderful...you keep doing it because it's a blessing to them.
Cremosa · F
I tell them all the time, they just don’t know how to receive it, it’s cute lol
