Are you a forgiving person?

I try to be, when I feel it’s appropriate. And when I’m being unnecessarily stingy about forgiving, I remember how I hope some very important people in my life can forgive me too.

Yes, I do forgive,but it doesn't mean that I keep going around somebody who is toxic and won't change their ways.

When i can i am.. forgiveness is an option and not something people should take for granted … you can only forgive someone who committed an offense and that may or may not be a good idea.. forgiveness is a kindness . And it’s nice to have for both parties.. but some people are abusers

Generally I can but if it was someone close to me then my guard goes up and I never really trust them again.
Unfortunately there are some things that can’t be forgiven but you have to come to terms with them yourself to live with them.

If you met me 5-6 years ago I would say I was TOO forgiving, now I give people the benefit of the doubt once but have firm boundaries

Like you I have an extent that I will forgive for, but if a person that has been forgiven repeats, then I write then off as a lost cause and disassociate with them.

Yes I’m very forgiving, I do it for myself to heal and move on.

Yes. It may not come over night but if the offense is bad enough, I’ll forgive as quickly as possible as I’m able to do so…

One must forgive to be forgiven. Having said that forgiving someone does not mean you have to camp out with them or they have to be in your life! 🙂 (Just my thoughts)

Yes and no. I dont take offence easily. But if you do make my $h*t list. You stay there.😷

I find it hard to forgive. I don't take revenge or give out negative energy. I don't dwell on that.

Yes I am... But people have been taking me for granted recently and have been pushing me to become a non-forgiving person. Maybe they will get what they want.

I am too forgiving, but doesn’t mean I allow the same hurt again. It just means I choose peace over resentment.

I used to say, "Always forgive, never forget." But I've found in my old age some things can't be forgiven. So I just move on.
