Do you think men are more sensitive than women?

But they dont show it ?
Modern man has 2x vaginas
No, however, some men are very sensitive, but they've mistakenly been programmed from children, up, that "big boys don't cry." Which is plain stupid. I wish they were more sensitive and could feel like they can be their authentic self.

Some men are very sensitive and some aren't. I hide a lot of my feelings because of the way I was raised.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@SweetMae i think we all need to let it out sometimes, its healthy
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon Yes, I agree.
Idk.. I'm sensitive but idk if its more than a woman.

But yeah I don't really show it. SW sees that side if me more than anywhere else

@ChiefWalksWith40oz sw it great for that
BlueVeins · 22-25
Not particularly.

Sometimes it seems like men PMS worse than women. 🤷‍♂️
Fluffybull · F
A lot of men are more sensitive than they let themselves appear but I don't think you can say one gender is more sensitive than another. There are so many variations. My hubby is more sensitive than I am but his being male and my being female may be only one factor.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@Fluffybull yeah i asked it wrong. I should have said are men more sensitive than they appear
Punxi · 26-30, F
Im all about emotional connection an all that. But if you use up most of my purses Kleenex wipin your eyes during the chick flick I drug you to? Ima ask ya if you if you wanna borrow a tee shirt to sleep in.
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
I have a sensitive side, sure. But only to those in my inner circle usually. I however am not an empath. I'm a self preservationist first and foremost.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
We are as emotional as women are.
There is a cultural missunderstanding with roots in defining as emotions the ones more typical in women (or the shared ones at it´s best) while ignoring as valid feelings what most of men feel their own.
The other force behind the pretended lnsensibility of men is (or once was) an evolutive (both biological and social) driven one.
It is or was related to our place in an old division of roles then needed for survival.
Lot of them are now no more there.
But sexual selection still favours some of those traits.
RebelFox · 36-40, F
I think that’s completely individual 🖤
Imsleepy · 31-35
I’d say they are just as sensitive as women, maybe slightly more. At least in my experience. I know a few of my friends that are men have stated they feel like they have to keep that part of themselves hidden until it reaches a boiling point.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@Imsleepy must be tough to feel so much and keep it bottled up
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
No.Us women are more in touch with our emotions.It is considered more on trend now for men to be emotional.Works great in Hallmark films and the Disney channel.In real life it doesn't.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
No. Except when it comes to their egos, then they are very sensitive.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@Carissimi makes sense
Ferric67 · M
@Carissimi ego is the root of too many problems (in all genders), if humanity can evolve above/beyond it.....it can and will pave a path to hieghtened enlightenment.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
It never will. Women are more sensitive in emotional things, where it tends to be more ego with men. I agree both sexes can have big egos, but regarding sensitivity, it’s usually men. My opinion. @Ferric67

some of them. and some women are a lot less affected than the rest. it's a non-binary trait, imo
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@SW-User yeah agree
th3r0n · 41-45, M
I am for sure; I’ve learned to handle my intense emotions over time, had to get really strong to do it
yes and it shows in little ways, just be observant lolz
Skippyskiptic · 41-45, M
Not more sensitive, but equally. But yeah, we don't show it.
OhIsMe · 36-40, M
Sensitive in different ways. Often really toxic ways.
Mostly I think it depends on the individual, regardless of gender. But it’s a fact that many cultures accept emotional displays from women (and children) that they don’t from men.
I'm super sensitive and whiney.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
Yes, and they do show it. Have a closer look here on SW.

I'm quite an implosive person. However through societal and personal training I never show emotion, and rarely feel anything either
SW-User
I don't think that men are more sensitive, but men are less able to handle situations where emotions are invoked. This is why stalkers are overwhelmingly male. Men can't just cry and move on, they have to turn into a school shooter.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@SW-User interesting 🤔
DDonde · 31-35, M
Not really no, but I think it’s true in general that we show much less than what we feel.
And we might be more sensitive/less sensitive to different things
empanadas · 31-35, M
Westerner dudes. Them Mofos like getting pegged
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@empanadas oh my
