There are 13 constellations so, there should be 13 months. 12 months with 28 days and 1 month with 29 days. 🤷‍♂ who knows, 😉 🙂

Honestly this, the current calendar is so goofy we've had centuries to fix it

@being @maskedbandit There are usually 13 full moons and most women experience 13 cycles in a solar year. I suspect some men had the final say in the matter.

What about the rest of the year? If they all had 30 there would only be 360 days in a year.

Who kept these names and why only 12

For that matter, why only 12 months in the calendar, when it creates an imbalance that they have to correct by adding a day every four years? A 13-month calendar would be more natural.
