Random memory unlocked:
A former coworker of mine didn't understand odd and even numbers.
She worked every other week, and whenever she was planning ahead for something she'd tap the weeks on a calendar going "working, not working, working" etc
Even after I spent a good 5 minutes trying to explain that she had work every odd numbered week she didn't get it.
The lady was in her early 60's at the time, and had worked as a cashier all her adult life 🤦
