People who make homemade soups

What's with the huge chunks of onion, and or tomato?
Seriously, that's gross and you need to look up some cooking videos

Vegetable soup is literally the worst soup ever made.

@NativePortlander1970 its settled. We need to have a sw dinner party. It'll be great and also weird. Lol
@NeuroticByNature That would be pretty good to do :)

@NativePortlander1970 it would be.

I don't mind big chunks, it's rustic. I always mince onion though.
@JimboSaturn They better be minced. Those in your neighbouring communities hate the texture of onions. Who knew 20 kilometres played such a difference in dietary palettes. I swear it's by community. 😉

I don’t mind chunks of tomato, but I’m not a big fan of onion bites

My homemade soups have perfect small sized pieces in them.

Honestly I prefer a "stew" with a bare minimum of liquid to a "soup" anyway, I'm perfectly capable of drinking water without adding token solids to it

It all depends on the actual soup recipe itself, personally when I make my home made vegetable beef soup, it's actually a leftover from my slow cooker beef roast and the veggies have with it, and includes its braising liquid, which all are sliced to decent bite sized pieces.
