In India yoghurt and dessert is served on the side to alleviate the spicy taste on the tongue
Lostsavage · 46-50, M
Add peppermint.
Lilymoon · F
@Lostsavage 🤔
Lostsavage · 46-50, M
@Lilymoon ha ha, but seriously sneak some candy in your pocket. Peppermint counteracts the spicy. Sneaky way to act like you can eat the hottest food on Earth.
Lilymoon · F
@Lostsavage wow I'll try that! 😁
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
Wash it off with water
Lilymoon · F
@JohnnyNoir already drank a bottle of water haha 🔥
benfaltiger004 · 46-50, M
@Lilymoon Water won't work .. You should try Milk or Yogurt.
Depends on what made it spicy to start with.
But usually your best answer is one of the following
1) to either get rid of it (trash, or take out the item that made it spicy)
2) Add more non-spice to it, so the ratio of spice is less
3) Add dairy products, as milk has an enzyme that helps get rid of spiciness.

Ummm, don't eat it? 😁
Seriously though... depending upon what it is, you can counteract the heat with things like sour cream, nut butter, sugar, starches like potatoes or rice, lemon or lime juice, and eating well-buttered bread with the meal.

FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
I can yes.
For me, I love spicy...it's like a drug to me even I have to sacrifice sitting on the toilet. I don't care about pain of burning anymore.

SW-User
Don’t add too much spice of course … or is this a trick question lol 🎀
Lilymoon · F
@SW-User who knew a 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes was too much ( also hot salsa) 🔥 🤭
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
Eat with something bland or dont make it with peppers, spices, etc.
Bowenw · 61-69, M
Mix in some dairy product like sour cream, cream, or yogurt.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
Dairy. Either milk, or add some dairy based dressing.
ArtieKat · M
As other people have suggested: yoghurt is the usual antidote.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
To me, if it ain't spicy, it might as well be baby food.
SW-User
water it down with more non spicy food
Lilymoon · F
@SW-User that actually kinda makes sense 🤭
Convivial · 26-30, F
A little bit of sugar well bring down the heat a small amount...

Why would you do such things?
Applepiedom · 56-60, M
Corn and cheese help bring spice level down
