I don't do much of anything on here recently but when I was more active I was more of an answerer than a questioner. I am very curious but I'm also very shy and I always think that my questions will be rubbish so no one will want to answer them. It's silly, I know :(
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Egg01 We like to answer questions of all kinds. Give it a shot sometime. :)

Nimbus · M
It used to be on sites like this that users relied on questioners to engage with others.
Without questions there would be no answers! :)
However, we now have the Facebook generation that use statements and people will respond to those.
Happily for SW there are both kinds here but I agree, more questions would be appreciated :)
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Nimbus Yes. Statements do generate conversation, but I enjoy a good question.
Lilnonames · F
@Nimbus and then we can think about those sites like

RelateToThat
Nimbus · M
@Lilnonames lol, such a great site, sadly missed ;)
Gusman · 61-69, M
I think I ask a lot of questions.
Some are even questions I know the answer to.
Plus observations, music, pictures...
It is all about engagement with other members plus it is an opening for members to interact with other members.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Gusman I have to agree. The reason is the engagement with people here. Sometimes my questions are silly, other times serious or even sad, but they are all things I'm curious to know how others feel about. I enjoy your posts - your photos and stories.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
It's much easier to answer than to ask so I think that's what most of us do. But I often ask a question in my response.

Mostly what I do here falls into neither category, at least not exactly. I'm mostly using SW as a public diary which sometimes contains questions.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@ninalanyon Yes. It is easier and more comfortable too, I suppose, to answer rather than ask.
morrgin · F
I have a strong curisosity about most everything, have lots of questions, and lots to say. ( yes I drove my parents crazy) So I think I do a good amount of both when Im active on the apo
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@morrgin I am naturally curious as well and enjoy hearing different points of view.
Both ask and answer questions, we are very different in Australia
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@OriginalNedKelly I have seen your questions and have answered several. Most of them I don't see until the next time I check in here though because of our time difference.
While I have asked a question, I'm more of a responder. Jumping topics keeps me more interested.
@LadyBronte It seems the case.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Magicianzini I go through phases here, where I just don't feel like doing any more than answering.
@LadyBronte Understandable, it happens. I really don't have much in life left to ask and when I do it requires a tutorial haha. No one here could help in those scenarios. It's usually me and YT.
Vetrov · 61-69, M
I never got over the crash and burn of The Experience Project. Back then I lived to write my little strange stories…because there were so many interesting people l could interact with.

It took over my life!
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Vetrov I loved EP. I miss so many people i knew there. It was a better forum for writing stories, for sure, and sharing experiences. It didnt rule my life, but I was on there nearly everyday and had quite a friend circle if people that were very dear to me. There'll never be another EP. I was better with the questions there too. 🤷🏼‍♀
Vetrov · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte
I’m certain l could rattle off a hundred names and even get most avatars right 😁
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Vetrov Lol. Same.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
Both. I used to ask a lot more questions. Mostly I make an effort now to be silly and share fun things.

LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Justmeraeagain Yes. I've answered a lot of your questions. :)
I used to ask lots but mostly just answer now
@LadyBronte I left for 6 years to deal with life and things. then recently came back. i am not sure i will be staying. i keep getting the urge to ask something but making myself not do it.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@DancingStarGoddess Well good luck in whatever you decide to do.
@LadyBronte Thank you!
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I swing both ways
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Thevy29 I take it in cycles. I go through times where ask questions quite regularly. But other times, I'm simply not in the mood. 🤷🏼‍♀
Punxi · F
I ask lots of questions....in absence of a question mark.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Punxi Nice.
Answerer is one of those -erer words like Federer I seemingly always mispronounce - I want to add another er making it answererer :(

AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
Occasionally I do neither and make a statement.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@AdmiralPrune Nice. That can generate conversation too, just like questions.
chillout17 · 31-35, M
How about people post answer's and people replay with questions?
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@chillout17 Could work.
Monalisasmith86 · 36-40, F
It’s really not of your concern really what I do here
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Monalisasmith86 And I didn't force you to answer, nor did I ever, in any way, shape, or form, tell you - or anyone else - what to post or not.

I know it's crazy, but this is called a question and answer board for a reason. I didn't single you, or anyone else out, so the "It's none of your concern what I do here", was actually ridiculous. It was a completely voluntary answer thing for those who were interested.

Just to make it perfectly clear, my questions are for people who:

1. enjoy answering random things

and

2. aren't under the false delusional anyone is speaking directly to them for the express purpose of being nosy, or questioning their intentions.

Most people get how this works. But maybe not everyone? Ok, so... All kinds of people ask all kinds of questions. Anyone who reads said questions is free to either answer or to scroll on by if the subject matter doesn't interest them or - God forbid - makes them feel like someone is telling them what to do.

Oh well, what ever the case, enjoy your rude - and I guess covert - secret squirrel - activities here.

This place is simply what you make of it. I could care less what you - specifically - do. If you want to be rude to the point people will call you a Karen, then be my guest and enjoy the notariety.

Oh and, perhaps if for some reason you feel I am just trying to specifically get in your business, block me and you won't have to bother seeing me or any of my posts - at all - ever again. It's neat how that works.

And further, if you're so easily offended by random questions from random people you've never had any contact with, you might want to (not telling you what to do, just making a suggestion) block a lot of others too, because as odd as it sounds, most people come to the Q&A board to ask and answer random questions. Weird, huh. 🤷🏼‍♀

I do ask questions, but for some reason some of my posts take a day or two to hit the feed. ☹
Musicman · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte I'm glad to hear that. The other day it was so slow I made five posts trying to liven the place up. Of the five only one was in the feed. I told a few friends about it. They went to my page and commented on the posts. Their replies were seen in the feed and that's when I started getting replies.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Musicman Weird. Maybe it was just a fluke.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte Sadly no. It's happened.a couple of times. ☹
Lilnonames · F
i usually post about things im doing or have done,but i also answer some as well.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Lilnonames Nice!
