Do you have a favourite childhood memory?

Definitely do - most are connected to summers spent at my aunt and uncle's place in the mountains... they were childless but the best ever couple in the world!

Staying with my sisters on our grandparents' farm in Poland. Being bathed together in a horse trough by the pump because there was no running water in the house 😊

All the times I spent with my grandma. Also I have fond memories of the gorgeous landscape of where I grew up in Tennessee.
Summers our family would meet up with my father's single brother and visit national parks. We saw the "Fire Falls" above Yosemite valley and roamed among the giant redwoods of Sequoia. My uncle and I were both early risers, and one morning we got fairly close to a moose in the meadows below Grand Teton Lodge. In Yellowstone we saw Castle Geyser erupt; only happens every 8 or so hours. And of course we saw bears, bison, Old Faithful, Morning Glory Hole, mud pots, and many other cool things.

I don't have any particularly good childhood memories. Moments here and there, maybe, but nothing coherent.
They’ve come flooding back now…thankyaverymuch 🥹
@Ghostinthemachine Tell me about them. You’ll feel better
@Notladylike Going to the annual fair with my grandparents, the sights, the sounds, the smells of greasy carnival food.
My grandmother worked there one summer and I would go with my grandfather to pick her up at the end of the day and guy working at the candy booth next door gave me a bag and told me to fill it with whatever I wanted

Your turn
@Ghostinthemachine Roller skating with my sister around our garage. Baking scones with my grandma. You reminded me of going down to our local carnival and riding on the chair swing.
Christmastime; and flying to see relatives over summer break.

The summers I spent traveling with my family and visiting relatives. Back then there were times I wanted to stay home and not be on the road, but now I wouldn’t have missed any of it for all the world.

Playing with my sister and cousin in our paddling pool. Not a stitch of clothing between us and not a care in the world 😊
Many. Mostly based at my grandparents house, in the garden, in the summer.
@V00doo Yes I have so many at my grandparents place too, my parents would ship me off to stay there each school holidays

Running around outside with my friends on bikes & skateboards. & Visiting my hometown in the summers where I always did so much shit I didn't get to do at home 👌

I used to love just wandering around the town doing whatever
