@Straylight this just means I'm definitely dying
@Straylight off to look for some Fly agaric
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
So pretty. And there’s soo many of them. That’s the cool part.

Anytime I see one it makes me want to drastically shrink in size so I can use them as an umbrella. And then go on a journey to find the Mad Hatter.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@PerfectionOfTheHeart Look how tiny Mycena subcyanocephala is! 🥹
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
@Straylight Oh. My. Goodness!! 🥹
Harmonium1923 · 56-60, M
Those are magical!
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Those are beyond neat. They are fantastic.

Don`t see any fairies. 🤔
Straylight · 31-35, F
@Degbeme Fairy ring mushrooms, also known as scotch bonnets are edible mushrooms that frequently grow in circles.
It’s perfectly safe to walk into the circle. In fact, lay in the grass and have a nap.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Straylight I thought scotch bonnets were hot peppers? But I digress, in all the years I have been on this earth I have yet to see one of those circles.
@Degbeme Yes, habaneros are also called Scotch bonnets.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Those bioluminescent ones... 🤩 Natural neon, if you've ever seen it.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@Ducky Got to have a fairy living in those! 🧚
Younameit · F
If I ever stumble across that fly agaric. Thanks for the reference
Straylight · 31-35, F
@Younameit You can find fly agaric in temperate and boreal forests across the Northern Hemisphere, where it forms symbiotic relationships with trees like pines and birches.
shinyplasticlove · 51-55, M

Life in all is myriad forms... Beautiful
Nanori · F
I'm that person who's likely to die of food poisoning because I must know the taste of everything
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Nanori No! No dying.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@Nanori I listed which were toxic and which were edible.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@mysteryespresso Mostly not.
Straylight · 31-35, F
Dewdrop mushrooms are cool because they’re teeny tiny.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@caccoon, let’s start a mushroom farm.
caccoon · 36-40
@Straylight yesss
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F

Straylight · 31-35, F
@SunshineGirl I love them.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Straylight Thank you for putting together the lovely post 💖
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Aren't the red ones with the white bumps psychedelic?
Straylight · 31-35, F
@hunkalove Yes. Probably why mushrooms became associated with fairies. Probably see all kinds of shit after eating one.
RosaMarie · 46-50, F
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@RosaMarie Hey! Save some for the rest of us.
