Just a thought on Easter weekend…

I always see things on Easter… from friends and others, that really make me sad. I get jokes but some seem very targeted and it gets to be a bit much. Mostly, I say nothing for two reasons. One, I don’t want to make people… especially friends, feel bad. And two, I don’t want to seem like some religious zealot as anyone who knows me, knows that I’m not. I 💯 respect all my friends of various beliefs and lack there of… and will 💯 defend their right to believe something different or even nothing at all. I care about all my friends wether they are Christian, pagan, Wiccan, agnostic, Jewish, atheist, Muslim, or anything else under the sun and will not disparage their faith, beliefs, religion itself, or again also a decision for none.

Just sometimes wished it worked both ways. 🖤

For now, imma take a break from here… so I can discuss what I’ll be saying to my psychiatrist this afternoon before we decide what’s next for me.

If I end up in the hospital it will be a ward not a crisis center, so they’ll be no phone. So let me take the opportunity to wish you all Happy Easter, happy holiday, or whatever it is that you celebrate or if you don’t at all… just have a wonderful weekend.

"I hate easter. I hate all holidays really. Birthdays as well. In fact the very thought of celebrating them makes me sick to my stomach. But that shouldn't take away from your enjoyment of it." These are the words I used from people who took it badly when I shared my true vulnerable side.

Some folks can't handle when you say you don't like stuff I found. You should have people who can take your feelings.

@twistedrope yeah. most of the time I’m good. but some people really unload on the holidays… and I’m like, that’s kind of hurtful. Maybe I’m just being oversensitive, but I wouldn’t do that at all.
