Why does the right decision still hurt?

JRVanguard · 26-30, M
Cause life is unfair and puts us in shitty situations
The right decision hurts now but will be better in the long run

It is most often a decision to be made between what is right, and what is easy. What makes something easy is often the absence of hurt. For example, leaving someone who is not nice to then be alone. It is easier to stay with a person who is nice over half the time than leave and be alone.
Or the difference between blaming others or taking a look at your own mistakes and blaming yourself. One is easy, one hurts but its worth it.

@MissNoahLenFoxx 😣i am sad too sat that is how it works maybe it hurts but long as you are convinced you made the right call . maybe you have your doubts on your decision but only time will tell on that one

Scientists say that personal restraint (abstaining from immediate personal gratification 4 a longer term gain) always goes with higher intelligence.

That hurts.

LOL!!

Just because it's what you have to do doesn't mean that it's what you want to do. It's hard to give up on something.

Because it's always hard to do the right thing even when your heart is against it.

what is the meaning of "right" and "wrong"?
Because it is often not the easy or the pleasant choice, unfortunately. But usually it will mean less pain later.
