Warm, but not hot. lol Maine, New England, Vermont, Virginia, Colorado, are all nice, though all different temps. Haven't been to them all. I loved living in Alaska. Was a dry cold and not humid summer, even at 102 degrees. Got -80 below in the winter. Gorgeous.
@Musicman I will heat with a wood stove and propane wall heaters as back up, the ductless heat pump is back up to the propane and wood stove and summer AC.
I prefer the cold weather it’s easier to deal with. but if I didn’t have to work Or worry about the money. Yes a warmer climate. I live in Pennsylvania always have we get harsh cold and we get the Hot humid weather. But if I had lots of money I would have to go anywhere or do anything I could just stay by the pool or in AC.
I must like the cold because when its in the 30s I dont turn my heat on. I can't stand being hot. Heres a pic of snow on my driveway a few years ago. Im hoping we get more this year!
If I had friends or a partner, then cold, lots of snow. An idyllic mountain hut.
Alone, I have no preference. I might go somewhere warm but preferably somewhere where they wouldn't remind me of Christmas. I find it gross and grotesque. Christmas belongs in a snowy country only. 😆
