Does short people have more advantages than taller people?

I’ve never been to a concert where I wasn’t pushed up to the front row. I’m 4’11”, and I think people feel bad because they know I can’t see.

I don’t mind my height. Sometimes it’s harder to reach things, but I don’t hit my head on things often, either. 😆

It is easier for us to buy clothes, I like my shortness. ☺️

When I lived in the New York, City suburbs I thought of myself as having average height, compared to those around me.

Then I moved to the Midwest, where the ethnic mix is quite different, and people referred to me as "short".

The only difference that affected my lifestyle is that it was difficult for me to find trousers that were short enough for me in Midwestern stores . But that's better now, because of an increase in the Latino population, who tend to be short and wear my size!

I don't know if short people have advantages, but I would like to be shorter. There's never enough room on planes and buses. It's difficult to find clothes. I don't like standing out in a crowd. My knees and back aren't great. On the plus side, I can see over fences.

of course not. I had to help a little person out yesterday...she was on the taller side for a dwarf but still really small. There's no practical advantage to fitting in places taller people can't, and there's a lot they are restricted from doing

They can hide gooid, like you're out hiking a trail in some tall grasses, turn a corner and WHAM, there they are. Sneaky sneaky.

Other than that, I wouldn't want to be an extremely short person at some nudist event...

Both have their respective advantages and drawbacks. For instance... Short people can get into places tall people can't. Likewise, tall people can reach things that short people can't.

Being short is an advantage on planes and buses. More leg room. Being vertically challenged does have disadvantages too. I'm 5'4".

And tall people always hitting their head on stuff. However, my height is useful. I can always reach the top shelf

I think there are a lot more disadvantages than advantages. Being treated as a child, not being able to reach things, not being able to see at event. I’m maybe 5’0 and there are some advantages but for the most part I would prefer to be taller.

I’m just over 6’. I think taller is an advantage. Women like taller men. Sports are easier in some instances. Even job interviews are easier because there’s a prejudice toward tall confident men.

Some advantages. Like if you are standing in bus with seats full.
Also nothing in excess is good. Same with height.

I think tall and short are equally advantageous in different kinds of environments. Being of average height is best, then. I'm average tall.

At 5’5" I’m considered average height for a woman in the U.S. I’m the shortest one in my family, however.
