@pdockal Well, going without sleep is kinda normal for me. It's a force of habit. The ribs happened because I fell off the roof while doing some home improvement.
@BlueMetalChick OUCH ... I hate going onto my roof ... damn that reminds me I have gutters to clean ... I don't sleep well but I do sleep 6 hours or so ... what were you fixing
@pdockal I was trying to install an exhaust vent for a kitchen fan, the kind with a metal hood that goes over the stove. I just moved into this new place, and I like it a lot but it was built from the ground up back in the early 1980's and so it has a lot of this outdated tech that was considered brand new and cutting edge at the time. One of them is a stove top with no hood, and instead it's got a vent in between the burners with a fan that sucks air downward. It's cool, but it really doesn't work good enough for when I'm cooking a lot, so I'm putting in a regular exhaust hood.
Normally I don't mind going up on the roof because I'm a good climber and I like heights, but I decided to do it in bad weather like an idiot and I went sliding off the roof and landed on my neighbor's garage.
@BlueMetalChick my home was built in 1976 ... the hood doesn't vent outside ... I do 99% of my improvements and repairs including the appliances (just fixed fridge) ... BTW you do look amazing for broken ribs and being up that long
