As a well known gangster and pirate...I strike fear into the hearts of many. Pinky swearsies I do. 🥺

Rutterman · 46-50, M
No, I don't think so. Young children and other people's pets are often drawn to me without me even doing anything to earn their trust. This isn't necessarily true with adults, but they don't ever seem to be frightened by me.
@Rutterman You look very kind, so I’m not surprised children and pets are comfortable. I draw kids and pets, too, but I’m probably smiling at them. 😊
Rutterman · 46-50, M
@bijouxbroussard Thank you for saying that. I must give off a certain vibe that tells them I'm a safe person to be around.

Ah, smiling might make a big difference. I'm not at all surprised that pets and kids are attracted to you. 🐱 🐶

I think I just tend to drive people away…eventually they see that underneath it all I’m not that nice and I’m incredibly fucked up

Aside from one person, I can't think of a time I've done that, right off. I
might have frightened small children a few times times by my appearance, if any had seen me.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
I was told that my eyes always smile and so in public at least there isn’t anyone that fears me.
@SageWanderer That sounds really neat, though.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard It does seem to help while wearing masks. I’m noticing that people, especially store clerks, seem more friendly.

Not on purpose..I can't imagine you with RBF though
Rutterman · 46-50, M
@bijouxbroussard You look like a nice, gentle person. Perhaps a bit reserved, but certainly not frightening.
@Rutterman Ah, yes…my days of scowling and writing disaffected poetry. 😉
Rutterman · 46-50, M
@bijouxbroussard Hahaha. Typical teenager in that regard. 😄
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
When I worked a night shift in Manhattan, my mother used to worry about me taking the subway at night.
I told her that when I got onto a subway train, people moved away from me.
I looked more like this at the time, and wore a lot of black clothing.

@DragonFruit So you were always handsome. 👍🏽
Notanymore · 36-40, M
Yes. Often. I'm kind of a big guy, and I come off as confrontational. I'm Also not very good at hearing sometimes, so I have a puzzled look and get closer to hear people.
@Notanymore That’s interesting. You have a pleasant face.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard well. That's an awesome compliment. Thank you! I tend to get a really confused face when I don't understand someone and I've been told that it looks very confrontational.
Appearance. My long hair scares people. Along with the way I dress. I rather enjoy it.
@bijouxbroussard More toward rock star..
@DropTopDig That sounds cool, actually.
@bijouxbroussard People stay out of my way, that's for sure.
JustNik · 51-55, F
I only startle people when I raise my voice because I don’t often. My manner in general I think tells people to leave me alone unless I’m making an effort to project otherwise.

[c=4C0073]Me, erm dont think so, but people believe i am stuck up when they dont know me yet..
Apparently i have that kind of look.[/c]
no i look cute 😄
Maybe not frighten, but make uncomfortable maybe? I have a really serious resting face, it can look intense when my head is mostly shaved.
Honestly it makes me want to keep my hair ultra short all the time. Maybe I should finally shave my head! I get very different reactions when my hair is more grown out and shaggy.
I've been told I can burn a hole through the soul with a glance, and I'm not a little guy... safe to say I have frightened a few people. Not necessarily on purpose, just happen to be in a bad mood.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Dya know what's annoying. My voice. It comes across aggressive sometimes. I'm from the North England. Ugh. Lol. And many people ask if i have a sore throat lol
Quite often. I'm 6'6", wear all black and seldom smile. I have been told more than once that I'm "imposing" and "intimidating"
@PrivateHell Yes, I imagine so. One of my cousins is 6’11”; used to play for the Pistons. He’s a sweetheart, but he’s actually heard himself described as “that big mean-looking black guy”. 😳
sciguy18 · M
I never thought I did, until several people at work said I looked rather intimidating before they met me.
cycleman · 61-69, M
By saying "Good Morning" to a few seems to inadvertently scare them more then anything else.

I can't help it ..it's my Eastern European ancestry that makes me look this,way 🥺
SmartKat · 56-60, F
Yes, I have RBF.
@SmartKat I never knew what that was, until my niece, a teenager at the time, explained it to me. My brother told her, “Aw, she always looks ready to kill a rock.” 😅
SmartKat · 56-60, F
@bijouxbroussard I’ve spent most of my life being ordered to “Smile!” I wish the world was not so threatened by a woman with a serious expression on her face.
@SmartKat So true !
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
All the time..apparently i can look a bit mean.
Lilymoon · F
Hahaha I hope not.
SW-User
When I'm angry yes.
HannahSky · F
“RBF”
lol
JimFarris16 · 18-21, M
i used to think a girl at my school looked depressed but she denied it.
Nope but I love scaring the shit out of people. Lol
My daughter had some friends round, and one is a boy that is sweet on her. He is now terrified of me 😅
DDonde · 31-35, M
Yeah people sometimes think I'm pissed off when I'm not
@DDonde Same here.
I'm about 6'2", 370 pounds, and loud. And I have the guy's equivalent of RBF.

So yeah.
MethDozer · M
Occasionally. I guess I have a sorta rough around the edges look.
HannahSky · F
@MethDozer that can be appealing
@HannahSky Indeed.
