I wish I was a simple person

I know they tend to have more peace and contentment, but I always have to have goals, plans and ideas to keep me going. I always have to have things to research and things to understand. Not having those makes me feel like I'm not living to my full potential.

I am exactly the same as you are, and I would not have me or you to be any different because this is what makes you and I the go to people when simple people fall apart and quit performing/living their lives.

Embrace our complexities because the simple people need our strengths.

You are beautiful this way Luv!

@WillaKissing I don't think I could change if I wanted to. I never get bored and always have something to do. I can't imagine any other way. ❤

@FoxyQueen I am the same as you and totally understand!

I understand this very well. I feel very uncomfortable with stagnation. I have slowed down to help with anxiety, but I never stop being curious and wanting freedom from the mundane aspects of modern human survival.

@MarbleMarvel That really is it, I think. Not wanting a mundane life. Not that simple living is mundane, it just doesn't feel rewarding to me. When there is so much in the world to learn, understand, do and experience, to not want to pursue them is confusing to me. How does one not want to make plans, have goals and find new ways of thinking and learning? It's not so much a judgment as it is not understanding how someone simply has ko desire. Lol
@FoxyQueen Different strokes is how I sum it up. There's likely many different reasons. It is a strange little enthusiasm we have 🦊 we find our way around obstacles and adapt to our surroundings while staying true to our nature. Always in pursuit and having fun along the way. I believe I'm here to add to the mix. Hopefully something kind of helpful.
I get it ...
Sometimes it's important to slow things down so that we can observe ourselves better

Simplify life. Read Henry David Thoreau for more.

@Crazywaterspring I mean, I think it takes more than reading lol. But I have read Thoreau. I've also read Dickenson, Tenneyson, and others.
