does acs do a home visit on the reporter?

I made a report against my child father but the cps worker wants to do a home visit where I live…. Is this legal? I just made the report

Yes it's legal. It's literally not about the parents. It's about the child. So they are making sure the child is safe and not in the homes of a bunch of insane people.
