What’s an awesome excuse to avoid seeing family?!

I’ve been invited to go over to my dads house tonight and I don’t want to go but I’ve said I was sick or working for the past 3 or 4 times he’s asked. So what’s a good excuse?!
Tell him the truth, and stop the cycle of lies, he's a grown up and will make it through :)

Go see him, he won't always be there
Simply, tell the truth but in a polite way!...No one can control your choice!...Good Luck!...☺👍
@BRICSruleNATOiscrybaby . I hear a lot coming from you .. most of it useless B.S.

I never said not to speak the truth or fight the fight that's worth it. So I'll speak my truth that you simply aren't worth more of my energy or time. You don't impress me .. and sure as fuck you don't intimidate me.
@SW-User So far I was being respectful and sticking to a healthy debate but you are an old coot who deserves a lethal kick to his face!...Spineless old fool who still hasn't grown-up!...Go back to the sewer you came from!...You only have frustration and sh*t in your brain!...Nobody wants to impress you because you aren't worth impressing, algae face!...

I am rubber and you're glue whatever you say to me will bounce back and stick to you!...

Keep talking to the hand, old faggot!...Adios!...🖐
@BRICSruleNATOiscrybaby . You'e just proving my point fuckstick.

If you have a pet, the pet is sick and you have to take it to the vet.
@lilcountrygrl Lovely!...Lol!...😆👍

Well unfortunately those are the best 2 excuses that I can think of why don’t u want to see your dad an or talk to him

Meet up with him alone. Make it clear just alone if girlfriend turns up walk away no questions answered.
He'll get the messages.

You really need to be there for a friend whos going through a hard time right now

"I would, but I'm not in the mood for family drama"
Miram · 31-35, F
I'd tell the real reason.
@Miram Being blunt is good because it saves one from speaking 1000 lies!...☺

I don't know...maybe it's time to isolate the reasons you don't want to visit and focus your attention of making the situation better if you can. Otherwise, I'd simply say I don't have the emotional energy for such a visit. Good luck.
What kind of "drama" results when seeing your Dad and his girlfriend??
He acts like he loves her even though he will break up with her within a few days. His girlfriends are usually bitchy and judgmental. Then he will drink and tell her about how he raised me and my brothers on his own and expect a million thank you sand all that shit. @SW-User
@SW-User .. Ah, I see. If you see just him, is he different / are you ok with outcome of those visits?
"I love you but I don't like you, I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is."
Tell him you were mauled by a tiger. Should work. 😉
@SW-User hahaha yes definitely this! 😂
Why don’t you want to see your Dad ?
@SW-User I’m not in the mood to deal with his new girlfriend and all that drama haha
But he’s your Dad. Go and be two faced then leave lol life’s too short to hide away from him @SW-User

You don't need an excuse, just tell him you're not interested.

Tell him you have to work
@Fishing65 haha I don’t think that will work again
