What’s an awesome excuse to avoid seeing family?!
I’ve been invited to go over to my dads house tonight and I don’t want to go but I’ve said I was sick or working for the past 3 or 4 times he’s asked. So what’s a good excuse?!

I don't know...maybe it's time to isolate the reasons you don't want to visit and focus your attention of making the situation better if you can. Otherwise, I'd simply say I don't have the emotional energy for such a visit. Good luck.
