I think smiling. Try that. I'm also awkward but it seems smiling helps.

You should definitely just turn to him and say one of the following:
"If you were a coffee, you'd be espresso because you soooo fine!"
"You mocha me crazy"
"I've been thinking about you a latte"

Fool proof plan.

Just smile at him and test the waters with small talk. He obviously sees you all the time but might just be shy. That might get things going. 👍

Try getting your order,smiling at him like you normally do, the walk towards him and drink you coffe close to him. If that don't work. The say something about the weather, or the beauty of the day, or how crowded it is not isn't there, under your breath as if you are thinking out loud. If he responds to you, the great z if not then n toss your coffee at him and say," O O O O P S , sorry, yada yada yada."

Well your practical attitude seems pretty shallow and makes me think you're just all about a girl's looks instead of what's in her heart. Physical attraction plays a big role but the context you're using is just cold. It's guys like you who make girls insecure about their looks and afraid of commitments. So just leave her alone already.
