@Reject when it gets too loud in my head & I honestly can't reel it in, I usually just cry. But I'm on anxiety meds plus I journal, which is a huge help.

@Tumbleweed Waiting for a storm to pass is something we all must do in life. I write down many of my philosophies and that helps me! So I get putting your thoughts into words.

@Reject It helps me sort things out

@Straylight Yes! I love Family Matters! 😄 I was hoping someone would reference that. My therapist also taught me of this awhile back. It’s similar to the 5-4-3-2-1 technique. I’m not sure Carl Winslow did it right though. 😝
your left shoe too tight? or that just me?

@Bexsy Bexsy! Your shoe is too tight? About to have me feeling like a Cinderella story trying to fix your shoe.

You clearly are treading on dangerous ground.
Reject · 26-30, M
@Iwillwait I’m okay! This is grounding technique. It’s something you say to soothe anxiety or frustration. It’s meant to help you focus on the problem and ideally do something about it.
