Shall I Visit my teacher and gift her something ?

So first off I’m 28 and I recently found out my former teacher is still working at the school I went to. She now has become a headteacher and, I really want to visit the school and give a card a little present just to show how much she meant to me 15 years ago. I used to be a little trouble maker when I was younger, I always used to make my teacher angry and give her a hard time. I just want her to know that I am still thinking off her. Obviously I will contact the school before hand.

Any suggestions people?
