Talking in class

12 yo's homework diary has been written in by two different teachers this week:

Geography: talking too much, listening too little
Maths: talking too much, being "silly" in class

I think I am expected to have a word with her about her behaviour over the weekend. I also think I am very badly qualified to lecture anybody on the perils of talking too much in class 😂

In my early school years, I was one of those pupils who almost invariably had something to say... So many questions to ask, so many opinions to express. Towards my High School years, I became more reserved, more soft-spoken, more reticent. Nowadays, I find it pointless to say anything unless it's either crucial or profound.
