Your right but my friend you never get that fully right , especially with family or friends cause if you detach from any of them and if anything happens you feel bad .
It's ok to let go of people in your life . It was done to me plenty of times ( and I have no resentments ) .
People get mixed up about detaching and resentments cause there something very similar.
