In my experience, most women become more sensual and stimulated around age 40 when they begin shedding the roles society dictated for them (ingenue, supportive wife, doting mother, career woman) and begin truly embracing their sexuality.

Speaking for the males, I could be emotionally and mentally stimulated up to when I started hormone therapy for prostate cancer and became basically androgynous in my 80's, although I needed a little help from pills or injections to get fully up to the challenge physically beginning in the 50's.

I was in my prime at that age, and yes, it’s definitely possible. It’s possible at 60, and not having to worry about getting pregnant is a bonus. 😊

I am 67 and still have a good sex life so age is never a problem. Its more about how you feel mentally. I was single for 18 years before i started a new relationship

Some require intellectual stimulation before they can be stimulated physically or sexually.
Others require emotional stimulation. Many require BOTH intellectual & emotional!

Yes. Arousal can happen at any age even for those who have partners, when stimulation happens from a fresh new external source. Arousal dies our with a regular partner over time as it becomes mundane and predictable.
