I was in a long term relationship/ marriage for many years with a woman 15 years older than me. If I were to go younger at some point in the future for an actual relationship, no more than 10 years. It's really not fair to the younger person in the couple. But, just for casual dating and sex, I wouldn't put an age limit as long as it's legal.
It really depends on the partner and their commitment to the relationship. Because generally, things do not get better with age. The things you used to could do when u were younger, you can no longer do or keep up. As long as the younger partner understands and accepts that going in, age shouldn't really be a problem.
I have dated a few women that were younger than me over the years. Never more than 10 years difference younger, there were a few older women, one 30 years my senior. I know someone near my own age will have similar experiences so i try to stick close to my own age but I don't really think it makes a difference if the connection is there.
For a brief time when I was 54 I dated a 35 year old. We got along great, but I was about to retire, so we were definitely at different points in our lives.
I've had relationships with women approximately both 15 years younger and 15 years older. I wouldn't refer to either as a partner - flings for all concerned, I think
