Thursday Update: from Musicman: "Good afternoon. She is slowly improving. Her oxygen level is 94 and her resting heart rate is 109. They have downgraded her to a regular room. 🙂 The nurses seem nice here and they seem pretty attentive. The ICU nurses were there immediately when you pushed the nurse button."

Tuesday Update: from Musicman:
"So here we go. They admitted her to the hospital. When they got her up to the room her breathing and oxygen level took a downturn so they moved her to the ICU. Since she is a mouth breather they removed the nose oxygen and gave her a mask that covers her nose and mouth. They increased her oxygen from 7 to 10 liters. Her oxygen level was up to 91 when I left."

Absolute latest! MORE on Musicaman's wife, from Musicman:
"Another doctor came in and we have more news. She has the one big clot in her left lung and a few smaller clots in her right lung. He said they will go in though a vein in her leg like they do for a stint in a heart. She can't be completely out. I couldn't envision that. And remove the clots that way. He says they may actually do this tonight."

Up tp the minute update 7:23 eastern time.
"Latest update. They can't do the procedure. They can't sedate her. She has to be awake. They can numb the area though. The problem is her back. She can't lay flat on a hard surface like the operating table. So they are going to give her blood thinners to try dissolving the clots that way. They are still admitting her to the hospital and will monitor her and give her the blood thinners intravenously. 😥"With the procedure her chances for a total recovery are close to 100%. With the blood thinners the odds drop a little. "

@LILPapi69 Yesterday her oxygen had gone up to 94%, and as I mentioned to you, they put her on the Eliquil to try to dissolve the clots without surgery. She was moved to a private room and taken out of the ICU, and it actually able to eat now. Musicman brought her a greasy looking breakfast sandwich yesterday morning. She has been told that she has to remain on Eliquil for the rest of her life.

@LILPapi69 The very, very latest is that she still has blood clots in her lungs. A huge one in the left lung, and a bunch of small ones in her right lung. They WERE going to go in through her artery in her groin to remove them, but she has rods and hooks in her back and can not lie flat, so they can't do that procedure at all...since she can't be anesthetized for it. She would have to remain awake.
So what they have done is send her to the intensive care unit. They have her on blood thinners, and they have increased the amount of oxygen she is receiving. That is all they can do for her at present.
