"Another doctor came in and we have more news. She has the one big clot in her left lung and a few smaller clots in her right lung. He said they will go in though a vein in her leg like they do for a stint in a heart. She can't be completely out. I couldn't envision that. And remove the clots that way. He says they may actually do this tonight."

This shocked me, and I consider @Musicman to be a great person and one of the few here I would like to meet in real life from SW. I stopped and said a prayer, and I pray it reaches Musicman's wife with God's good blessings.

Up tp the minute update 7:23 eastern time.

"Latest update. They can't do the procedure. They can't sedate her. She has to be awake. They can numb the area though. The problem is her back. She can't lay flat on a hard surface like the operating table. So they are going to give her blood thinners to try dissolving the clots that way. They are still admitting her to the hospital and will monitor her and give her the blood thinners intravenously. 😥"With the procedure her chances for a total recovery are close to 100%. With the blood thinners the odds drop a little. "

Latest Update from Musicman: "Okay, here we go. She has a large blood clot in her lung. They are going to admit her to the hospital. Then they are going to put her out and go in arthroscopically and suck the clot out"

Update: No results yet. She had to be sedated in order to lie flat for the CT scan...so the doctors wasted all this time. No results yet from the CT scan.
