If I was in a relationship and they said they wanted me to become religious for them, I'd laugh in their face.
WestonTexan · 18-21, M
No, I could not see myself doing that. I think people with different beliefs can be in a relationship (my dad is not religious, my mom goes to church every week, and it's never been a source of friction), but I wouldn't change my beliefs for a partner. That said, it could end up happening organically. I've seen that happen in relationships too.

For my future sig will have known and shared my beliefs. It's what attracted me to him.

No not now I wouldn’t . If I were asked 5 years ago (while exploring) I would have been completely open minded to something new.
Now whoever I were with would most certainly have to be on the same page 💞 🙂

I think it would be difficult if our different religious beliefs entailed very disparate morals and core values. Those I would never change for someone.
Nope. If our morals and values didn't align I would not have married him.

Nope .. would respect them practising their beliefs if different from mine .. its a hard stop if they can't do the same

No. My mother did, but she really didn't care about her first religion at all, and cared even less about her second.

If it prohibits me of doing the things I love, no.

Maybe, if it feels right. But I've yet to learn about a religion that describes a god worth worshipping.

They could try. Since I’m agnostic that means I believe in the possibility so I guess I’m always open. But I doubt it would work tbh.

If it meant a lot to her I would, I'm easy, I'd go with the flow

That's a sell out. I go with what is most reasonable.

Religion is subjective. It's spirituality that matters.

I did once and that was enough for me
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Would depend on the religion and why he wanted me to convert.
