Depends on the concept of God. Religions that consider God to be a separate entity or fractured entities looking down on each of us as individuals is dead in my mind. I hold a much broader view of God. That we instead are all just ripples on a sea of energy that is curious about life so it watches but rarely gets involved. It may create scenarios but then sees how we all react.

I believe in Jesus. He is my reason for being. He is my hope and salvation.

I heed the words spoken in Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
I love God and Jesus in my own way. I am very spiritual .

God is THE number one most important thing in my life, because I really DO love Him!!! Religion...not so much.

Which god? Our Lord, The Flying Spaghetti Monsrtter is very important to me, as are the Norse and Celtic gods. The Greek and Roman gods are OK but they're not particularly important to me. The xtian god isn't worth bothering about.

I am just not into it, not my thing.

I went to a church once and apparently it was an LGBT church. I knew that because only half the congregation was kneeling.

Important in this extent:
a) To know the cultural references in art.
b) If I'll ever deal with some psycho, I guess it's good to know if it's a religious fanatic or not and perhaps it could be useful to know what ideology to pretend to follow in order to negotiate with him or her if needed. (Bollocks, I'd die because I'd rather watch paint dry than study religions, so I essentially don't know much about them)

Important but needs to be more important for me personally anyway.. sigh

On a scale of 1 to 10?
He still owes me 25
PalteseMalconFunch · 36-40, T
A lot apparently

At least because everything around me is based on it and that determines how I’m allowed to live my life
Not at all. It's important how people are , rather than some faith in some nebulous concept
Adogslife · 61-69, M
If I want fiction in my life, I’ll read an espionage novel.

Religion actually scares me.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
I enjoy reading about and trying to practice the Buddha dharma but Buddha/God or any deity mean nothing to me.

It affects me ONLY in how it causes other people to act.
