I was listening to the chatter on the train this morning. It was all a bit religious.

Where I live they have a Christian god. He’s starting to get pushed out by Muslim and Hindu gods. Before the Christian god we had Saxon gods. Before the saxon gods we had Roman Gods, and before these gods there was Celt gods. And even they weren’t the first gods worshiped here.

So somewhere there could be a load of old gods sitting around doing absolutely nothing.

There was a seagull this morning that plucked a croissant right out of a woman’s hand on the platform. He’s doing alright and he doesn’t pray to anyone.

Gods, eh?

At heart, we're all still huddling round the fire at night, scared of the dark

@Convivial Or in wonder of the stars. Camp fire stories. They must have started everything

@Morvoren we have an intrinsic need to fill in the gaps... deities fill that need

In Luke 12.24, Jesus said that God feeds the ravens. Apparently he takes care of seagulls, too.

@daydeeo What about the billions who lived before it was written?
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Morvoren You haven't answered my question yet.
Morvoren · F
@daydeeo Thats true as I countered it with another point.

Maybe the diet god deployed the seagull 🤷‍♂️
Morvoren · F
@Ferric67 Maybe, you never can tell😉

Maybe he worships Scrawk god of Seagulls, he certainly seems to have more influence than the god of the human who lost the croissant.
You know this Scrawk sound interesting and powerful, maybe that's the religious direction for me.
Morvoren · F
@GeniUs Maybe…
I love be nosey when people that i dont know are having conversations. Lol
