At t = 0 there was no earth, no water. There weren’t even any fundamental quanta that constitute matter. There wasn’t even any space, because space-time was a singularity. In truth, the gauge symmetries (the symmetries that define how the universe and its forces work) were not even manifest. Even the forces of nature were not manifest. All language breaks down here. Any attribution to creation in a religious narrative is really projection from our own side.
No. The Big Bang, proposes, supported by accelerated universal expansion, that at one point in time, our universe was condensed into a single point of light. For how long? no one knows. Then an event that lasted one picosecond (10 to the power -12 of a second), the point of light, to explode into a massive fireball, getting the early universe started. The mass created at that moment in time, kept expanding, and 13.8 Billion years or so later, it is our universe. The universe continues to expand.
The Big Bang was modeled by Catholic (Christian Jesuit) Priest in the early 20th century.
The Qur'an is mostly excerpts from the Old and New Testament, updated for the time. Revolutionary, for the time, in giving women rights. Unfortunately, it never evolved.
Same with Surah Adh-Dhariyat 47. Lifted from the Old Testament.
I don't know how the Earth was created, and I don't think we will ever have a definitive answer. People that have Faith can suggest that God created everything, the Heavens and Earth, but then it goes back to who created God?
Did He have a mother and father, or wasHhe created by thought- then who thought of him? And if He was created from particles, how were the particles created?
We will never know, just like we will never reach the end of the expanding universe, where the darkness of space enters white light.
Many people from the past asked these questions from our prophet Muhammed. Then a chapter was revealed. The best definition in Quran for God is: Say, ˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺; Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him.
He is not matter, he is uncreated, he made matter, particles, and everything. Okay so lets say if God was to be created, he must have a creator and if that creator is created he too has a creator that creator too has a creator and this loop is infinite.
God was forever and will be forever. We are just a tiny part of his creation. Allah in the Quran says:
@MuslimBarbie If your god didn’t need to be created, then we could just as validly say that the universe didn’t need to be created... and that has the advantage of simplicity, because there’s then no need to postulate medical entities

Humans are just superstitious twits that are easily conned by shysters who tell them what they want to hear so that they can cope with their fears. Con men have created over 330,000,000 gods over the ages. It's actually one of the easiest things to do. It gains greater power and authority when it is written and says that it is the word of the particular deity. It is also reinforced if the big wigs are able to kill skeptics and get away with it. The Bible and the Koran have such examples. Other societies sacrificed their children to the imaginary deity because the bigwigs claimed that their imaginary deity demanded it. The people were to stupid and cowardly to simply kill the big wigs instead so they went along with the con game.
Historically, women are always the first converts to the scam and they serve as enticements to get the other nitwits to become part of the big lie.
One thing is 100% certain and that is no god of any kind will ever appear on this planet in all of its alleged glory to show people that it is real. That is because all gods are imaginary.
For the first 380,000 years of the existence of the universe, there was no matter at all. No gas, no stones, no molecules, no atoms. No matter at all in the early universe. So to speak of anything as "earth" or "heavens" is just wrong.
For most of those early 380,000 years the universe consisted of super high energy photons; think gamma rays, only much higher energy.
@Entwistle Everything we see in our universe, the skies, heavens and earths all where in that one point, that one place, joined, the big bang, that explosion happened and Allah seprated the heavens and the earth, meaning from there this whole universe came, so basically the heavens and the earths were together on that spot and Allah separated them when once they were joined as one entity.
@MuslimBarbie There was no Big Bang as such. Planets exist because individual stars go super nova and the material ejected into space from them eventually clumps together into balls of material that orbit the star. The original star itself was formed by cosmic hydrogen atoms that clumped together into a ball that went nuclear. Over time the star produced new elements and then, at some indeterminate point, it exploded but doesn't disappear. The process takes billions of years.
Up to about a century ago people thought that the universe was just the visible stars that they could see at night. And thousands of years ago people thought that the stars were tiny bits of light. They had no idea how large they really are or how distant they are. Today we know that the observable universe is large, containing over 200 billion trillion stars. Can you even imagine a number that large? Then throw in the number of planets.
But the thing is, we still don't know how large the universe really is or what it is. Imagine the number of atoms in the observable universe of today. Now image if there are that many universes in space.
In any case, the idea that a deity ancient superstitious people cooked up created just the observable universe but that he only cares about certain people on this tiny speck of dirt is silly beyond belief.
I am sure that you are more intelligent than people were thousands of years ago. So, abandon their nutty fairy tales.
@SW-User oh good question, and I am happy u realized... Its because this is a part of a verse not the whole verse, so in the starting we dont put quotation and in the end, the verse ends so we put quotation.
