For anyone who had a stable, calm home growing up...

..How did that calm or loving environment shape or help you now as an adult?

I'm trying to do a new activity of REPARENTING yourself, and it's very hard to imagine life with love, support or safety.

From my experience there's still hardships in a loving family, each getting on others' nerves at times, there can be many hard feelings beneath the calm surface. Like in the movie Fargo, where people seem regular hide darkness, in all of people imo ... in fact I am imagining that you're in a position to learn and grow from a really bad experience more than those who had a more subtle experience.
