Other than infidelity, abuse or addiction what was the last straw that convinced you to finally divorce? Also how long did you stay married?

@brian29715 I am sorry. It might be time to consult with a divorce attorney just to see what is in front of you. The information you need to collect, and get your questions answered. You basically have 3 options if she is not interested. First you can just keep going as you are with no hope of love or passion. Or you could find your passion outside of your marriage (that's really not the best but its the most common choice) , or you pull the pin and start over. Most people pull the pin after the have found passion outside of their marriage and now have someone that loves them.

I was married to the 3rd ex for almost 25 years. He had always been abusive when drunk, but then when threatened with jail, and after my son was grown, he began to play mind games. Gas lighting me was one of his favorites. He began to have rage episodes. I was so controlled that I couldn't go anywhere unless it was to a store nearby.
Finally, he threatened my freedom openly...and told me he was going to have me locked up. The worst part was when he tried to gaslight me two minutes later and tried to pretend he had never said it.
That's when I told him I wanted a divorce. And he didn't try to get me to stay. There was no love there.
