hello, why do you think most people online hide their identity, paticularly the men?

But that's all that is needed. General things. People would prob be surprised to find out how much about them is on google. Search your real name there sometime..

@Magenta Indeed, I do know this lady had access through her job to more than a general Google search, but you are 100% right in that Google can have a ton of info.

@Mondayschild i have no friends here lol..i just post random stuff and comment on different things mostly because i am sitting here and want conversaton and yes i have spoken to a few and let me tell you, within 10 minutes the sex conversation comes up then i back out of the conversations until the next one comes along...look at my post ...some are silly and some are about this very subject and im sorry im ranting

@Mondayschild ok im going to tell you a story...this happened to me after my husband of 29 years and i separated..nothing happened we just fell out of love...anyways, here is my story..my friend encouraged me to go on a date site, she thought it would be good for me to have someone because she said i had alot to offer in a relationship and i deserved to be with a goo man.. this is 5 years ago..i had no clue what i was up for..i thought everyone was there for same reasons..conversation and maybe meet up and have a friendships and maybe a relationship..who knows but what i found was this...because i was single and had nothing to hide , i put my picture up and told a story of who i was..nothing personal...and OMG first weekend ever online and i received over 300 messages and i couldnt believe it and as i read i discovered about 80% of these messages were from married men and i couldnt believe it and to top it off , most of them were from my neighborhood lol..honestly i think it traumatized me..i told my friends of this at work and they were all worried maybe their husbands were online and who knows maybe some were...how scary was that for these married women...since then this is all i see on every site i go to and it makes me sick...i am not clumping all men together but to be honest, its not looking to good for them righ tnow in my books!!

@AsianMoon aside from the trolls who are probably married too...who is contacting you, married men or men in relationships? and not many single guys, right? because let me say this, most strong independant men are not online seeking women for sex, they are successful in their lives and dont need to be online to fill in the void..they respect who they are and are not dogs like what you mostly find online...do the research, think back who is contacting you and what they are talking about...are we not worth more than this crap...

@AsianMoon i understand and that is a legit concern but im talking about these married men or men in relationships who are lacking in their sexual relationships with their partners and are on here and sites like this to prey among the weak and vulnerable for their own selfish disqusting reasons...those are the ones im talking about and trust me, they are everywhere online...just like hounddogs, i cant stand them and ill call them out everytime...

@SW-User i do agree with you to a point but when i see men on here exploiting women and degrading them i lose it and yes the intentions of sites like this is to help each other but these people who come on here and lie and cheat with the intentions to hurt for their own selfish reasons are dogs in my opinion and when i see it happening i comment, i am not scared to do that because you dont know who is reading this stuff who needs real help because of abuse or whatever and im here and i will help them the best i can...do you understand what i mean?

@LindaM And I agree with you...plenty use it for the wrong reason. I mean I hide my identity to the extent of personal information...there needs to be trust for that sort of thing. But generic information like marital status I don't think is anything worth hiding. Some are more private than others. But being private as a means of misleading is a completely different thing...and I'm sure plenty do it.
