hello, why do you think most people online hide their identity, paticularly the men?
i think its because they are married or in a relationship and are hiding? lol

I honestly don't believe it's any different for males vs females; it's about privacy and a feeling of safety.
Regardless of gender, some are more comfortable sharing than others.
Personally, I don't share a lot, but I also don't hide in the shadows. I've met a lot of wonderful people on EP and here in which are now woven into my real life.
If I appreciate the friendship, and feel I can trust them, I'm good sharing my identity; I'm proud of who I am.
...just me tho...I respect each person for their comfort and boundaries!
