Why is it so hard to make friends?

A popular philosopher said once: "f*** fake friends, where your real friends at?"😔

It's hard to make friends, especially when we're older.
I find people that are only temporary friends.... there's always something that doesn't stick. Either they drink too much, do drugs, can't get along without their husbands, some crazy crap..drama

I love my handful of loyal friends from childhood and I don't need anyone to replace that.

people dont do relationships very well these days. lack of attachment and too much self centeredness. people come and go so easily.

I think it's virtually impossible to be friends with everyone. What you've got to do instead is find people you're already compatible with from the start. It makes it so much easier to become friends.

I don't find people complicated, rather, interesting. Unfortunately I lack the means to connect with people, socially and emotionally. I could say I feel the same way If I knew how I felt.

i usually find it's the person questioning that is making it hard.



all i have to do is sit and suddenly they've got me 'all rolled up into one' with assumptions.

People aren't complicated, that's just thinking too much of it. Finding one that you can mesh with is just a weeding out process. That's the tricky part

Shouldn't be that hard, people are so afraid to be themselves, always hiding under a mask of some sort.....very troubling!
