Why is it so hard to make friends?

People are just so complicated, and its exhausting..

It's hard to make friends, especially when we're older.
I find people that are only temporary friends.... there's always something that doesn't stick. Either they drink too much, do drugs, can't get along without their husbands, some crazy crap..drama

I love my handful of loyal friends from childhood and I don't need anyone to replace that.

thats what i noticed too.. either their addictions ruined the person's ability to hold friendships or drama or whatever makes it hard.
