When dating does race affect your decision on whether to date someone or not?

Yes, we all have bias deep down that we aren't really in control of and usually aren't even aware of. Though if we are aware we can consciously try to counter or smooth it over.

Race doesn't really matter. But most people have some sort of aesthetic preference that might lean more towards one ethnicity over another.

I guess so but race mainly does play a role in this. Some races are seen as "conservative" than others. Indians for example, I mean being part of the LGBT community must be hard! But hatred towards anyone really doesn't bring us as a society anywhere

I am opened to a wide range. But for instance attraction towards certain ethnicities and not feeling the same towards others. Otherwise people are people, no stereotypes or judgment involved. (Not to say stereotypes aren't correct some of the times. But they are not always the case.)
