Idk. I would think I could do better now but maybe not. But you look very attractive still you might be getting the wrong guys for the wrong reason. They just see your looks. You would think that get better with age. We have should know by now that looks having to do with a good relationship.

I've never been married but have split up two times. First time I never thought I'd have a relationship again, but 2 yrs later I did, now I've been single since 2018 and fairly certain it won't ever happen again.
No dating, nothing. It's too difficult.

My married friends think that post divorce life is some sort of fantasy, dating, sex, no responsibility. I can't speak for every divorced person but that sure isn't my life. Dating has changed so much since when I was younger.

Maybe you're looking in the wrong place you should try the UK, I'm single - just saying.

I think its one of those things that you now know much better what you might want in a relationship, but while you were learning what you wanted, the whole dating scene was changing .... Two intertwined wheels, always seeming to spin away from each other ...

Are you on a paid site? I found that helpful. People that pay generally have the goal of a more serious relationship in mind.

It’s definitely harder than I was hoping for. But maybe it’s me? Lol
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@JackBoston No you're just seeing what most of us see - that later in life we have so much life experience and baggage that our focus on what we want compared to what we don't narrows a lot because we refuse to accept and tolerate shit in our lives that as a much younger person we might have accepted or not even picked up on in the pursuit (for some) of Real Love (tm). In older years (50+) that Real Love (tm) is really just a myth because you can never be good enough for other people in a romantic/intimate/sexual sense as people become less tolerant of narcissism, etc.

Glad to hear that...

When I was dating at 35 it was absurd. I felt like every date was a prank. I’m married now and sometimes that feels like a prank too.

LOL sounds like you got the right idea
