Your favourite social media site & why ???

This is the only place I frequent.

I came to SW as a last chance to find a social media site where I can connect with people who are well meaning and enjoy the variety of differences in people instead of being judgemental and stagnant. The friends I am making here is what keeps me here.

This is the only social media site I use. I love it because people are actually guess what: SOCIAL! I get to see new insightful things and meet new people with similar interests. I deleted Instagram because it made me feel lonely, but I feel a connection here.

I have the closest friends from EP. They are on SW. They are really only the reason why I am here. All social media is the same.

Sw is my fav iw as involved in the design and creation of EP it only became SW bc of so much spam posting from ppl in romania area. It was a lot of international number call for good time kinda thing. I like SW its the format question answer avoids conflict compared to the my opinion your opinion approach. Also more intellectual open discussion. I appreciate fewer scam messages annoying pictures and constant advertising. So im a SWeeper

I used EP for a time but abandoned it well before it closed, as it becoming rather too nasty in places.

Now I use SW and AnswerMug (slightly similar to SW); plus one or two specialist sites dedicated to my interests.

I have never and never will use Facebook / Meta, Twitter / X (stupid name-changes), Instagram and the like.

Why my choice? Anonymity, finding a few people with similar interests and tastes; occasionally some interesting discussions..... and as far as I can tell SW and AM are not data-harvesters like those others!

If I have to choose one, it would be SW but overall, all social media sites I've been on lost their initial appeal. Whatever the reason is, it's not what it used to be.

I liked SodaHead it was fun I was good with Captions. but like I just read here that these places ain't what they used to be. This is the only site I spend any length of time on besides youtube

No favorites. I am on social media infrequently now, here and Facebook.

I prefer SW and YouTube, the only two that I really use

Both are outlets I use to express my thoughts and art. YT mainly for just my music. There's an aspect about similar worlds I like, that it feels very small. It's easier to recognize and say hi to regular members

Not necessarily my favorite but I think there are many here that like this place best (compared to the others) because it's closest to PornHub...🤷..LOL 🤣

I think I enjoy SW more than orher social media sites because of anonymity..yes, and the fact that people post actual topics more here. FB is becoming very Narcissistic in that every person I see is simply posting their vacay pics or selfies. Just a constant Look at me! Every moment vibe. Here people ask serious questions, occasionally philosophical, or humorous ones too. Yes you get shit posts but sometimes they are funny! And yes there are trolls here but I try to keep scrolling. I never joined Instagram. I will say there are a lot of wonderful inspiring memes at FB and some funny too..thats why I stay there. But I go definitely less there than here, because it seems like a popularity contest..

I use SW and reddit. Although reddit has some very anal moderators. Been banned from a few subreddits. Now who could ever believe that could happen to someone as sweet as i am😅
