What are reasonable expectations of a spouse?

No lie, no cheat, be fair, loving, caring and understanding.

I expect that she is a great mother to our children and a great wife to me.

There are no expectations beyond that other than making sure the kids are fed while I am at work.

When I am home then we both work on the cooking, and cleaning, and laundry, and any other tasks.

I have no expectations other than we work together to accomplish things that need to get done.

Expect that you won't always agree, work it out, stay respectful of each other.

Expect that they'll have bad habits, but love them anyway.

Expect that it won't be 50/50
Support eachother. When your spouse is struggling pick up the slack and vice versa.

Expect that your relationship will need nurturing through time, love, and affection. Prioritize this part of your relationship.

To be the women I’d want my daughters to look up to.

I would say the first and foremost expectation is mutual trust.

Farts are funny. No exceptions
