What would you think if a woman in her 40's actually got to marry a dude in his 20's?

May they have a long and happy marriage.

My husband was 40 and I was 19 when we married...

My mom was 40 when she married a 27 yr old. It only lasted 5 years.

It's not impossible to have a long lasting marriage with a much younger/older person...but it's a lot less likely to work.

It happened to my nephew. They are still married 27 years later

Four of us in high school later married and my husband was 8 years older. My three friends married men who were 20, 23 and 40 years older.

Mine was the only marriage that failed. The first and third ended in widowhood, the second is still going strong. All evidence indicates all three were good, strong unions.

It would make no difference what I think they are adults . They make their decisions,they should know more about what they like than somebody trying to run their love lives for them.
I’d wish them good luck and hopefully many years of happiness ahead. That my opinion anyway.
