@SW-User I guess she did, we had a terrific sex life...until literally our wedding night once the marriage was sealed. From there it became sporadic and within a year or so I was cut off completely.

@indyjoe I'm glad you're happy now in your marriage
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@SW-User The marriage with the ex ended 21 years ago. I have been with my wife now for nearly 16 years (married to her for nearly 14).

I would be wary of him but wouldn't end the relationship if I really had feelings for them. Some people are weak.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@SW-User I would. There’s millions of men out there who wouldn’t do that. 🤷🏻♀️
SW-User
@Keepitsimple i know, and it may be a total waste of time to be with someone unreliable, but sometimes you don't feel a connection easily with someone. Hardly happens and that's why you accept them.
And it's interesting because if that relationship ended, if I really loved that person, I rather be alone than trying to find someone else. Because I enjoy that solitude

Idk, firstly I would think why lover cheated, maybe it would be mine mistake, not him.
My father cheated my mom, but fault was her in fact, not him.
P.s.sorry for bad english

@AGirlHasNoName Mine is more than just an opinion...having observed the pain and devastation that cheating causes and being one who has been cheated on myself, my reply is well informed. There are reasons people cheat that are understandable, and there are reasons that are just selfish and nonsensical, but cheating is wrong under any circumstances and any situation. Cheating is a choice...and people who say " It was an accident, I didn't mean for it to happen, it just did" are full of it. They put themselves into or chose to stay in a situation they may have found themselves in which infidelity would be a highly probable outcome. They know it is wrong and will hurt the one they love and damage/destroy their relationship/marriage. Yet they go ahead and go through with it. I am not saying that it isn't or can't be forgivable, but the trust is shattered and trust is on of the solid building blocks of a relationship...and when that is gone or extremely weakened at best, the relationship is never the same again and in many cases no longer exists.🤠
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@indyjoe Plain and simple The purity of the marriage is gone. You never look at that person the same way again.
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@Keepitsimple Exactly.
Bigmike2523 · 46-50, M
Nope, they did it once they'll do it again
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@Bigmike2523 Sometimes they don't...but you are right, most of the time they will do it again (especially if they think or believe they've "gotten away with it" or they've been let off easy). So I'm on your side with this.

If they cheated? Yes. I'm stupid like that.
Shayla · F
If he cheated? Probably not. If I cheated? I have no clue, that's too far from my norm to imagine.
SW-User
Ah, yes, I won't trust the person as a result of me cheating on said person.
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
Once, yes if it happens a second time then no.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
If I cheated or they cheated? I wouldn't cheat, and of they cheated it would be hard for me to trust them again.
donut · 26-30, M
@basilfawlty89 they cheated
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Nope. Out. Finished.
