Is it rude to ask your girlfriend if she's on her period when she is emotional about something?

cheesenpickles · 26-30, F Best Comment
It's ignorant.

It's incredibly unwise and pretty dangerous actually

It's stupid...males who ask women that stupid question when she is mad (esp at the male) do NOT take her or her feelings seriously and reduce her to nothing but hormones.Don't accept that behavior from males
Melpomene · 26-30, F
Well, it's rude if you always ignore her emotions and assume she's on her period.
Phillyphan78 · 41-45, F
I would say so. That's a good way to get her angry too.

@SW-User lol, not at all...my mom raised me right 😂

@Phillyphan78 I asked once and I didn't see her for three days and then I could only barely see her through the crack of my left eye

I'm gonna go with yes, it's rude.

I think you might be better off to ask if the had sat on a stick that went up her ass before asking that.
With a man and a woman or a woman and a woman relationship there should be no need to ask.

If you can't count to 28 and that's the first thing you ask everytime she's emotional
TheQueenBree · 26-30, F
Yeahh usually. I’d like to think it’s not if it’s completely obvious they mean it sincerely and aren’t ignoring whatever she is actually emotional about. But lets face it even if they were completely obviously sincere we could still get annoyed when we’re on our period soooooo best not risk it 😅🤷🏾‍♀️ advantages of being a lesbian: my gf understands this shit too 😅😂
Is it rude to punch them in the face if they ask?
Degbeme · 70-79, M
If you end up with a fat lip you`ll have your answer. ;)
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
It's deserving-a-slap-to-the-face kind of rude.

Just don't give her any tolerance for acting like a bitch on her period, then you can expect one standard of behaviour and you won't have to ask.

@Pinkstarburst I stand by it 😊

@SW-User You're a brave soul 😉

@Pinkstarburst Yeah, I like being stabbed with a high heel 😂
helenS · 36-40, F
It's the final insult.
AllAboutLaffs · 80-89, M
That's not smart ... 🙄
ChiyoSKL · 31-35, F
Some females find it rude, I never did. The majority of the time it was right. Only time it would piss me off is if the person did something deserving of me to be that way (trying to hook up with another person or something behind my back).
not rude,
just risky

@1a1a1a11a But not asking would be even better.

It is stupid; there is no faster way to put an accelerant on an already raging fire!

I would only ask that if we're on the verge of breaking up anyway 🤷‍♂️
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@UckfayOuyayOotay If that were the case, they would never find your body after she got through with you.
Very rude and dismissive. It implies that her feelings are “only” hormonal and not based on any actual concerns.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
Not a wise question to ask.
