Is cheating ever okay? Is it forgivable?

Can it ever be forgiven? Even if it's within the context of say, a drunken night at a party?

Mistakes happen. You're human.

@Montanaman Mistakes happen. Also betrayals.
We are humans. Loyal ones are not robots and neither alligators.

@Montanaman @CharlieZ How many times is cheating an accident?
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@Crazychick Never.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@CharlieZ Therefore it's not a "mistake" in the sense of it being unintentional.
Montanaman · M
@Crazychick not as in, "ooops, I slipped up and put my dick in her, "
But as in, "I got fucked up! I fucked up, one time, can't I be forgiven?"
If history repeats itself, then, it wasn't a onetime mistake
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@Crazychick It may be not intentional.
But meaning is intrinsic to facts, concious or not.
Not to intentions and minds.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@CharlieZ Where I come from there's no situation where a "mistake" is intentional.
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@Crazychick Agree, no mistake is intentional.
And intentions are not enough to define.
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@Montanaman A one time betrayal is one time in excess.
Forgivable as human beings? Yes.
Necessarily as partners? Not imposible, may be neither desirable.
Not for me.
