Boyfriend brought me an Apple Watch after 2 months for doing well at uni

It depends on a variety of factors. Which model of Apple Watch was it? Basic models are less than $300, but some models can get rather pricey.

It also matters your boyfriend's income level. Is this a lot of money for him, or a drop in the proverbial bucket? If its a high percentage of his disposable income, then it might be considered a bit excessive. If it's basically what he spends on a typical night out, then it's not that big of a deal.
